Lesley Abarquez Bradley* has been a stage manager in opera and musical theatre for many years. Working regularly with the Canadian Opera Company, she was stage manager for Die Walkure, La Bohème, The Bear/Swoon, Don Giovanni/Le Renard, The Magic Flute, Dido & Aeneas/Coffee Cantata, and several school touring productions; and assistant stage manager for at least another 30 operas! She has also enjoyed the challenge of stage managing the COC’s Centre Stage: Ensemble Studio Competition for the last two years.
A recurring stage manager at the Glenn Gould School, recent credits include La Belle Helene, The Cunning Little Vixen and A Silent Serenade. Lesley has also enjoyed working with many other great companies, including Against the Grain Theatre, Tapestry New Opera Works, the Canadian Children’s Opera Company, the University
of Toronto Opera School, Queen of Puddings Music Theatre, The Banff Centre for the Arts, Summer at the Roxy and Resurgence Theatre.
The Thirst for Love & Water is Lesley’s first venture into the worlds of dance and circus. She is very excited to have this opportunity, and looks forward to a summer of learning & new adventures.
